Design

As a designer, I aim to simplify things. Too much of design is crafted merely to look good — to look as if it were designed. Don’t get me wrong. Design ought to be beautiful. And everyone knows when something has been well-designed. But beyond appearances, design should work hard. I believe design wears a blue collar — or maybe no collar at all. Design communicates and is always relevant. I do all of the things you might expect a freelance designer to do: corporate identity and branding, collateral, poster and editorial design, information design, illustration and advertising art direction.
